The lunar eclipse and “blood moon” had many staying up past their bedtimes, so they could view the rare occurrence Tuesday morning.

Brian Abeling of West Des Moines was one of those who braved the chilly spring weather to capture amazing video and photos of the moon and he’s sharing it with us.
