SOLON, Iowa – Officials have issued an Amber Alert for a girl who police say was abducted from her home Saturday morning.

Police said 10-year-old Brianna Crane was abducted at about 4:45 a.m. from her home in Solon. She is 4 feet tall, weighing 85 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is described as hearing impaired.

The suspect has been identified as 48-year-old Kenneth Johns. He is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 210 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue jeans. Johns is considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect vehicle involved in the case is a gray, 2014 Ford Focus with unknown license plates.

Editor’s Note: Officials had initially stated Brianna Crane was 9. At a press conference Saturday night, they corrected the girl’s age.
